Additional Information:

This role will be based in Austin, TX and follows our 5-day in-office model.

Responsibilities:

• Ignite financial planning by generating dynamic insights for key retail and online business areas, ensuring alignment with Whole Foods Market’s strategic goals.

• Partner with global teams to implement innovative tactics, driving both regional and company-wide strategies.

• Lead quarterly forecasting and targeting initiatives across multiple regions, focusing on clarity, accuracy, and financial excellence.

• Analyze retail business trends and collaborate across functions to develop robust forecasting models that support our company goals.

• Guide weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews across 3-4 regions, identifying growth opportunities and fostering innovation.

• Present insights to the Financial Business Analysis team and regional leadership, contributing to the development of actionable short-term plans.

• Master pro forma and ROIC modeling to drive operational capital investment decisions.

• Collaborate on capital development strategies, working closely with regional leadership and store development teams to shape the future of Whole Foods Market.

• Mentor and support a dynamic team, sharing your expertise and helping to develop less experienced members.

• Mastery in compiling, monitoring, and auditing financial statements, reports, and accounts with precision.

• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, Workday Financial, and other WFM reporting tools.

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, data analysis, and charting expertise.

Education & Experience:

• BA/BS degree and 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
