Assists with development, communications, and dissemination efforts. Transforms complex and varied policy components at the state and federal levels into internal and external communications, including funding proposals, grant reports, internal memos and presentations, blog posts, slide decks, etc. Drafts sections of proposals and reports where policies and policy-related practices are applied to make strong arguments for OnRamps current and future work. Ensures that evaluation and research findings are contextualized in education policy and policy-related practices. Drafts easy-to-understand policy briefs and presentations for directors, staff, and other non-policy audiences where clear connections are made between OnRamps work and other education policies and policy-related practices. Serves as key policy analyst to identify and analyzes dual credit and distance education policy and policy-related practices, including state-level and system-level policies. Serves as the policy researcher on questions and issues, staying abreast of current and future education policies and policy-related practices that inform OnRamps work. Reviews and/or conducts research on dual credit or distance education policy and policy-related practices and other and education issues. Extracts, cleans, and analyzes data, policy, and research findings from a variety of sources.Collaborates with the Associate Director of Enrollment Management and Executive Director to proactively inform the OnRamps leadership team about education policy and policy-related practices that shape leadership and organizational strategy decisions, with attention to timeliness and relevance of information. Develops briefs and memoranda to provide timely information that supports continuous improvement and strategic planning. Develops agreements, contracts, and proposals based on current requirements and standards of practice. Reviews, provides risk assessment, analyzes, and revises, as needed, for contracts, agreements, and other memoranda of understanding. Develops assets and materials that guides clear implementation of academic policy across the organization under the direction of the executive leadership team. Reviews and provides recommendations on annual documents to ensure alignment with university policy and cooperative agreements.
