Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience working with data, analytics, and technical teams to identify and solve problems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience with ambiguity and delivering information in an organized manner.

  • Experience adapting to changing business needs, while communicating and informing teams about shifting priorities.

  • Experience manipulating, analyzing, and synthesizing data sets, and distilling them into key insights and concepts.

  • Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization with experience leading cross-functional process improvements.

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As Program Manager in Insights and UX (IUX) you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of the top organizational priorities. You will lead multiple programs utilizing knowledge to connect various efforts and accelerate the overall IUX portfolio. You will also be involved in bringing foresight, enhancing the quality of final outputs, and supporting duplication of efforts.

The Programs team is dedicated to advancing key objectives and priorities within Insights and UX by steering ambiguous initiatives from concept to execution. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for defining the strategy, developing a multi-quarter program roadmap, driving OKRs to completion, facilitating decision-making, and managing relationships with various key partner teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead multiple programs within Insights and UX, collaborating cross-functionally to define program scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, driving OKRs to completion and facilitating high-quality decision-making.

  • Manage relationships with key partner teams, supporting collaboration and ensuring the success of cross-functional initiatives.

  • Act as a strategic advisor, provide insights and recommendations to senior management on program performance, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Partner with Core Infrastructure, Data Science and Analytics, and UX teams to establish and reinforce an analytical and data-driven culture across the organization.
