Job Description

The Controls and Avionics Solutions (CAS) business is experiencing unprecedented growth. Our two design centers in Endicott, New York and a new state of the art development center in Austin, Texas are the home for our next generation technical solutions. Engineers will develop flight and mission-critical products for more than 170 commercial and military customers.You will have the opportunity to help design and develop the next generation: Fly-By-Wire Flight Controls, Aircraft Engine Controls, Ground Vehicle Power Management Systems, Aircraft Electrification Systems, Advanced Air Mobility Systems, Autonomous Flight Systems, Flight Deck Systems, Cabin Management Systems, Weapon Control Systems, and Mission Systems for the world's most prominent commercial and military aircraft and vehicle manufacturers.

Candidates for this position can expect to work in mid-size teams that are cooperative, dependable, and supportive, working both co-located in a hybrid environment and geographically distributed. This position involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work and will take the form of a hybrid work schedule, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

As a Principal Power/Analog Design Engineer you will make impacts in the following ways;

  • Design, developing and production following of state of the art electronics for advanced aircraft applications,including Jet Engine Control computers, Flight Control systems, Aircraft Electric Propulsion Systems, Cabin and Cockpit electronics.

  • Conduct research, design, development, and testing of information processing hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and electrical components.

  • Mentor junior engineers and be a subject matter expert

  • Design new or modifies existing products, develops technical specifications for production, analyzes hardware configuration and processing solutions, and tests hardware conformance to specifications.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • BSEE, with 8 or more years of analog design experience including board level design experience

  • Ability to lead and mentor engineers

  • Experience in Analog Electronics Design

  • Experience with design analysis tools such as PSpice and MathCad.

  • Experience performing analog circuit stress and tolerance analysis.

  • PWB design support experience.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • MSEE with 10 years of analog design experience.

  • Experience in designing for EMI and Lightning Protection.

  • Experience with military and or avionics work.

  • Some experience with RF Circuit Design

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
