Supports patient care by performing focused nursing assessments, patient intake, vaccines administration, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) waived testing assisting in the determination of predictable healthcare needs, within the scope of practice, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice nurse, physicians assistant, or physician.Triages patient calls delivering nursing interventions that are consistent with stated medical plan of care utilizing the nursing process to assess, implement, and record patients' response in the medical record.Prepares and administers medications or treatments as prescribed by a health care provider and supports discharge process of patients at the end of each visit as necessary.Collaborates with the clinic supervisor and participates in the administration of nursing services by providing working assistance and assigning tasks to non-licensed medical staff, or office support personnel.Support the operations and management of the clinics vaccination program.Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation. Ensures appropriate patient consents and authorizations are obtained for medical treatment.Addresses individuals and information with a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality in various delicate, formal, or urgent situations.Support communication with community partners via face-to-face meetings, emails, and phone calls as needed.Demonstrate excellent engagement skills with people from diverse backgrounds.Must be comfortable and flexible with changing priorities and self-directed problem solving.Develop and maintain effective working relationships with providers, staff, and patient.
