PCSI is looking for a People Team Coordinator! The People Team Coordinator supports PCSI's Human Resources functions, including electronic file management, onboarding, audit compliance, and other administrative support. The People Team Coordinator facilitates department communication and acts as a point of contact for certain employee inquiries and support staff from other PCSI worksites. This role is also responsible for a variety of special HR-related projects and administers several employee programs, including emergency financial assistance and scholarships for employee dependents.

We are looking for someone highly organized with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to multiple priorities and a variety of projects. This is a hybrid position based out of our corporate office in south Austin, TX, in office 3 days per week.

Benefits Include:

  • Base pay of $26.50-$29.00/hr depending upon experience.

  • Annual bonus of up to 6%.

  • 21 days of PTO per year, in addition to all federal holidays.

What You'll Do as People Team Coordinator:

  • This position provides support to the People Team department and other administrative support in some of the following functional areas: HRIS and file maintenance, employee programs, and audit compliance.

  • Ensures compliance and collaborates with internal and external partners.

  • Responsible for processing Employee Assistance Program applications and tracking program activity.

  • Performs customer service functions by answering HR related questions/inquiries or redirecting to appropriate HR team member.

  • Responsible for ensuring accurate electronic file maintenance in Document Manager.

  • Responsible for entering pay rate increases from contract changes and other HRIS entry in UKG.

  • Provides backup to the HRIS Analyst with data entry and system troubleshooting as needed.

  • Assist with maintaining the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP), EEO, VETS requirements and compliance.

  • Make updates to HR Policies and Procedures and HR forms as directed.

  • Prepare correspondence, forms, statements, or other documents using standard procedures and templates.

  • Assist with gathering documents for compliance audits and maintaining ISO compliance on HR documents.

  • Collaborate with Manager and Business Partners to create, review and edit company job descriptions.

  • Manages incoming background check and drug screening results, as well as process training and troubleshooting.

  • Assist with the new hire onboarding processes when needed.

  • Maintain HR related SharePoint pages and documents.

  • Conduct Exit Surveys and provide exit data reports.

  • Prepare complex reports using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

  • Administrative tasks to include, faxing, scanning, employment verifications, records retention, and group communication, etc.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • Associate degree in related field required.

  • HRCI or SHRM HR Certification is a plus.

  • Preferred two (2) years of prior experience in human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Requires knowledge of PC functions and Software.

  • Experience with HR compliance and reporting to include affirmative action, EEO and VETS reporting, etc.

  • Demonstrated hands-on use of UKG is a plus.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience required. Must be able to create graphs and charts and embed videos and other graphics into reports and presentations.

  • Experience with SharePoint is preferred.

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position regularly, up to 85% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. and carry office materials and supplies up to 20 pounds.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculator, phone, fax, copier, etc. and a personal computer.

  • Ability to exchange accurate information in person and over the phone.

  • Occasional travel may be required, up to 5%.
