Accenture Payroll Global Service Delivery Lead in Austin, Texas

The Payroll Global Service Delivery Lead is responsible for the oversight of all payroll processes including payroll services support, garnishments, accounting, property onboarding, system configuration. This roles is also responsible for the oversight of all payroll tax processes Federal, State, and Local and will be responsible for Corporate Payroll Stock Accounting. Monitor tax law changes and partner with client on interpretation and implementation. Oversees all tax filings for Fed, State and Local jurisdictions, provides recommendation to the client based on tax changes and publications. Responsible for all payroll tax accounting for all US based properties and US corporate offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the payroll services and systems team in delivering customer service, including responding to inquiries related to payroll from our client, properties, workers and various internal departments

  • Ensure payroll is processed accurately each week accordance to client's policy and procedures

  • Partner with client on interpretation and implementation of payroll changes. Responsible for all payroll processing and payroll accounting for all US based properties and US corporate offices

  • Collaborate in development, testing, and troubleshooting of all system changes with the client, IT, etc. as it relates to payroll tax Implement continuous process improvement to include the adoption of best practices and updating standard operating procedures according to the client policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of Payroll experience with large employee base

  • Minimum of 8 years of supervisory experience

  • CPA or Chartered Accountant

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Oracle Cloud payroll system

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to communicate with senior management

  • Understanding of accounting and financial processes including risk and financial controls

  • Ability to understand and apply laws, regulations, and compliance requirements Assertive, clear and professional verbal and written communications

  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative conflict resolution skill

  • Ability to effectively design and present information to senior management Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions

  • Agility and ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently Knowledge of pre payroll, post payroll processes including garnishment

  • Certified Payroll Professional CPP or ADP

Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Desire to work in an information systems environment

  • Excellent communication written and oral and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent leadership and management skills

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
