Location: Remote to Dallas (preferred), NY/NJ, Atlanta, CA
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technology Business Services Sales Professional to drive business growth within the Telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling advanced and transformative technology services, including OSS/BSS (Operations Support Systems/Business Support Systems), Data & AI solutions, and Engineering Services, to Telecom Service Providers. This individual should have 8+ years of experience in services sales specifically focused on Telecommunications and possess a deep understanding of the needs, challenges, and opportunities within this industry.
This person should come with existing relationships within a Telecom Service Provider (s) that they can call on and get meetings from the outset of their employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to promote our technological solutions (OSS/BSS, Data & AI, Engineering Services) tailored to the specific needs of Telecom Service Providers.
Business Development: Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers within Telecom organizations, including CXOs, VPs, and senior management.
Account Management: Maintain and grow existing accounts by understanding client needs, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and providing tailored solutions.
Solution Selling: Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client pain points and position our technology services as critical solutions for their business needs, improving their operational efficiency, revenue generation, and digital transformation initiatives.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with internal teams, including product management, engineering, and delivery teams, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of solutions that meet client needs.
Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date on Telecom industry trends, challenges, and competitive offerings to effectively position our services and differentiate our solutions.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Accurately forecast sales revenue, manage sales pipeline, and report on key sales metrics to drive business decisions and meet performance targets.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, specifically selling technological services to Telecom Service Providers with existing relationships that they can call and get meetings from the outset of their employment
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Telecom industry, including key trends, challenges, and solutions in OSS/BSS, Data & AI, and Engineering Services.
Consultative Sales Approach: Proven ability to sell complex solutions through a consultative, needs-based approach.
Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior-level clients and key stakeholders.
Results-Oriented: Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets with a focus on growth and expansion.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Preferred Skills :
Technical Background: Experience or familiarity with OSS/BSS, AI, and Engineering Services in the Telecom domain is a plus.
Global Exposure: Experience working with international clients in the Telecom sector is advantageous.
Analytical Abilities: Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and translate them into actionable strategies.

Location: Remote to Dallas (preferred), NY/NJ, Atlanta, CA

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $114,200 - $212,000.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
