Digital Retail is a group within our Retail business that leads strategy and delivery for all of Schwab’s retail digital channels and retail digital experiences (Schwab.com and Schwab’s mobile app). In Digital Retail we empower investors to Own Their Tomorrow by delivering industry-leading, exceptional digital experiences, supporting 10 million unique monthly users and +150 million monthly logins.
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Planning and Insights on the Digital Product Operations team, the Manager of Data and Reporting will coordinate with the Retail Strategy team, manage and report on Objective and Key Results (OKRs), create Executive and Stakeholder Reporting, leverage data to tell a unique-to-Digital story, and support in strategic planning. This role is essential in driving strategic alignment, optimizing reporting frameworks, and enhancing data visibility across digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, data-savvy, and adept at navigating a complex enterprise environment to support key business priorities.
Retail Strategy Coordination : Act as the central point of contact for retail strategy-related asks, ensuring alignment with Digital and broader business objectives.
OKR Management & Reporting : Support the development, tracking, and regular reporting of OKRs to drive accountability and progress visibility.
Executive & Stakeholder Reporting : Assist in creating and iterating executive-level presentations, tracking down insights, and ensuring clear communication of key initiatives.
Data Liaison & Enablement : Help bridge data gaps within the Digital organization, enhancing employees’ ability to leverage data for decision-making and performance tracking.
Strategic Planning & Alignment : Support cross-functional visibility and coordination from strategic planning through execution, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities.
Release Tracking & Communication: Aid in the tracking of digital releases across multiple channels, providing critical updates to executives and stakeholders.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in strategic planning, product operations and business insights.
Experience automating repeatable processes in Excel using formulas and visualizations.
Prior experience working with OKRs, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and operational reporting.
Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Initiative: Strong self-starter with excellent business judgment and ability to proactively problem solve.
Analytical thinking: Ability to scope and structure analysis and develop solutions to answer ad hoc business questions from senior management efficiently and accurately.
Excellent Communication and Executive Presentation Skills: Track record of supporting senior leadership reporting and strategy discussions.
Consulting and Influencing Skills: Prior experience working in cross-functional role spanning job function and levels.
Comfortable developing stories in PowerPoint.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Adobe Analytics).
Experience with enterprise product planning and release management.
Financial services industry experience.
