As an Apple Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and repairs of facilities’ HVAC and mechanical equipment for corporate buildings. This role requires attention to detail, in-depth Facilities level of knowledge, and customer service skills. You will work alongside other Facilities teams to ensure that all facilities are maintained to display Apple’s standards.

  • HVAC experience

  • MEP knowledge

  • Building automation system experience

  • Ability to work alone and collaboratively

  • Basic administrative skills

  • Experience with CMMS and service request systems

  • Ability to respond to urgent matters

Description

  • Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of commercial HVAC equipment across assigned locations, including but not limited to: water-cooled chillers and cooling tower systems, air-cooled chillers, package units, air handlers, fan-coil units, VRF systems, and fan-powered boxes - Low-voltage electrical troubleshooting - Enforce safety requirements related to mechanical systems, electricity, and hazmat - Operating and fixing building automation systems - Works in an environment that requires collaboration within and outside of the HVAC team to support Apple’s facilities - Multi-tasking to support work efforts across sites - Responding to work tickets with priority and best-in-class customer service - Support construction projects, ensuring all facilities delivered to end-users are up to the same standards as our existing facilities - Collaborating with vendors to complete work tasks - Perform special projects to support building users’ requests - Participate in departmental on-call program, as designated - Performing rounds/health checks on equipment - Immediate response to facility-related incidents, during business hours
