Litigation Attorney – Insurance Defense

The firm is renowned for its expertise in handling complex litigation cases, including catastrophic losses, personal injury, and property damage claims. Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management : Handle all phases of litigation personal injury cases, including initial case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

  • Depositions: Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts with precision and strategic insight.

  • Trial Work: Participate actively in trials, including presenting cases in court, cross-examining witnesses, and delivering opening and closing arguments.

  • Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates and strategic advice throughout the litigation process.

  • Legal Research and Writing : Draft and respond to legal motions, prepare legal briefs, and conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure that cases are handled efficiently and effectively.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute litigation strategies tailored to the specific needs of each case, ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Texas.

  • 2-10 years of litigation experience, with an emphasis in insurance defense litigation

  • Strong understanding of Texas civil procedure and substantive law.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work well under pressure.

  • Experience with depositions, trials, and case management from inception to completion.

  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Pay Details: $125,000.00 to $165,000.00 per year
