Amazon’s Reliability and Maintenance Engineering Global Talent Development (RME GTD) team is currently seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Leadership Development Program Manager who will assist in implementing our leadership development strategy. This role is responsible for managing and delivering several global leadership development programs (LDP). The Program Manager will assess to understand role-specific needs, architect blended learning journeys, and implement associated programs and performance support tools. The role requires a strong delivery record and proven program management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and learning projects and programs. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Role requires up to 25% travel.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage & facilitate new and existing programs, successfully delivering cross-functional LDP's across the RME organization ensuring timely delivery.

  • Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable programs.

  • Facilitate remote and in-person learning and development courses.

  • Partner and collaborate with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set program priorities, establish milestones, and drive delivery for LDP's.

  • Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely action steps, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate.

  • Influence design and development of programs utilizing the ADDIE model.

  • Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives.

  • Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for LDP's, providing visibility to key milestones, and performance of programs using this data to drive/influence business decisions.

  • Own and deliver program communication and accelerates progress by driving crisp and timely decisions,

  • Applies process improvement methodologies to execute existing programs and collaborates with the LDP Sr. Manager in establishing new programs to support leader development across the RME global organization.

About the team

The Amazon Reliability and Maintenance Engineering team maintains and optimizes technologies ranging from large, modern, purpose-built warehouses utilizing robotics and high-volume conveyance all the way through the value chain to small, high speed warehouses placed as close to our customers as possible. We maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Customer Fulfillment, Sort Center/Air, and Delivery Network. Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • 2+ years of work experience in learning program management and evaluation, preferably in leadership development; demonstrated experience with measuring the effectiveness of learning programs

  • 2+ years of virtual and in-person facilitation experience

  • Strong business communication skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge and proven experience of learner-centered, performance-based instructional theories and adult learning principles

  • Ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced work environment and manage time appropriately

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business, HR, or a related field

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • Technical aptitude to be able to quickly learn new technologies

  • Ability to deliver results with little supervision in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to define business requirements for technical solutions to scale LDP's

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
