**[Position Summary: [The Housekeeping and Grounds Assistant Manager (HandG Asst. Manager) will report to the Housekeeping and Grounds Manager (HandG Manager) with additional guidance from the Deputy Executive Director. This position works under general supervision with some latitude for use of initiative and independent judgment. [Assists the HandG Manager with contract compliance. Helps develop guidelines, procedures, and policies; coordinating and evaluating business function, division, or department activities. Ensures that all assigned areas are clean and well maintained, and performs all other related duties as assigned in a timely manner working closely with building occupants as required. The HandG Asst. Manager will set priorities and must remain flexible. Displays excellent verbal and written communications skills and maintains a professional and respectful approach when interacting with team supervisors, employees, visitors, and building occupants. Performs all other duties as assigned. *Must be able to work with the Agency's 360 day-per-year schedule that includes weekends, evenings and holidays, including on short notice.
