Danaher Corporation Executive Assistant and Sustainability Project Manager in Austin, Texas

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

EA-related responsibilities:

  • Meeting scheduling and calendar management

  • Preparing effective Powerpoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets

  • Making travel arrangements as required

  • Assisting with logistics for meetings

  • Supporting budget management

  • Day-to-day office requests

  • Providing back-up support to other corporate legal Executive Assistants, and working collaboratively with assistants throughout other departments and outside of Danaher

Sustainability project management responsibilities:

  • Supporting preparation of sustainability materials for Board and executive leadership

  • Managing Sustainability Council logistics (maintaining calendar, scheduling meetings, collection and distribution of meeting materials, documenting meeting actions, etc.)

  • Managing logistical aspects of sustainability events such as kaizens/workshops

  • Maintaining sustainability benchmarking data on prescribed cadence

  • Supporting logistics relating to materiality assessment stakeholder outreach

  • Supporting project management tasks related to sustainability-related investor relations tool (i.e., pulling reports, compilation of quarterly data into historical archive, etc.)

  • Supporting maintenance/updating of sustainability standard work on Danaher intranet

  • Project management support relating to specific regulatory requirements (e.g., CSRD, CSDD, etc.)

The requirements of this role are:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience; HS diploma required

  • 5+ years of successful experience as an Administrative Assistant/Executive Assistant, including substantive project management experience

  • Ability to ma i ntain co m p l e te con f i d e ntiality r e gar d ing sensitive information

  • Tech savvy and highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); excellent PowerPoint graphics/presentation skills are a must

  • Proven track record of proactivity and the ability to get things done

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate comfortably and effectively with individuals in a wide range of functions, and at a wide range of levels, throughout the organization

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize

The hourly range for this role is $35.44-$39.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
