Building the software packages to be installed on the compute clusters and virtual machines needed to support data collections, including data analysis packages, databases, application servers, and metadata extraction servicesMentoring TACC staff and researchers using the software and services deployed on TACC servers and clusters.Providing database support for users in open and compliant data systems, including creating and managing database schemas and tables, loading data, and providing role-based access to specific system users.Supporting mentoring a broad range of researchers in data management best practicesPrepare detailed reporting on system deployment and support progress to ensure that the end goals of the projects being supported are achieved promptly and accurately.Prepare reviewed papers, technical reports, design, and requirements of data analytic techniques and systems, optimizations, and novel applications across domains supported at TACC.Prepare detailed documentation of the process and procedures needed to support the deployed system for use and review by others.Other related functions as assigned.
