As our Director, End User Business Development , you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Conducting thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients within the healthcare industry.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals and healthcare organizations, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable Physical Access Control solutions.

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. This involves creating compelling value propositions for healthcare clients.

  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the Physical Access Control products, including mobile credentials, and staying updated on industry advancements to effectively communicate product features and benefits.

  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for market expansion, which may involve exploring new geographical areas or additional segments within the healthcare sector.

  • Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and adjusting as needed.

  • Providing education and training to healthcare clients on the features, installation, and maintenance of Physical Access Control products.

  • Ensuring that all sales activities comply with the relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

  • Clear understanding and experience with the end user corporate culture, environment, and decision process within the Critical Infrastructure vertical.

  • Complete understanding of how HID products fit within this vertical market.

  • Understanding of consultant community requirements and tools related to this vertical.

  • Effective communications skills with end-user corporate management and executive personnel.

  • Proficient technical knowledge of Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) and the authentication market to support the role of an End- User Sales Team

  • Understanding of HID Global sales development ecosystem: Business segments with focus on PACS (Physical Access Control Solutions), channel rationalization, sales process, HID road map in PACS.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory and operational requirements for security in critical infrastructure sectors (e.g., transportation, utilities, defense, etc.).

    Your Experience and Education include:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and inspire teams to achieve goals.

  • Proven experience in sales or business development roles, demonstrating a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, lead generation, and closing deals.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively is crucial for client interactions and presentations.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret data and trends, make informed decisions, and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • An initiative-taking individual with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities. Ability to work independently and take initiative.

  • Openness to acquiring new skills and knowledge in the business development domain.

  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand and respond to client needs. Focus on building and maintaining positive relationships.

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills to connect with potential clients, partners, and industry professionals.

  • Familiarity with the industry or sector in which the company operates. Knowledge of market trends, competitors, and relevant business factors.

  • Proficient negotiation skills to close deals on favorable terms for both the client and the company.

  • Comfortable using relevant business development tools, CRM systems, and technology platforms.

    The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

    The base salary in the United States is $150,000 to $168,000. The OTE is up to $240,000.
