Role: Datacenter Technician
Location: Austin TX 78735- Onsite
Duration: 12 month contract with potential to extend
- Junior req - more of an ancillary role vs. the Intermediate role, data center technician to fill out inventory team with inventory experience, asset management, shipping/receiving
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide engineering expertise to technical teams spanning multiple disciplines and geographies
Engage with internal stakeholders in product planning, development, and validation activities
Deploy and maintain NPI server products while partnering with other engineers and contractors
Track and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program
REQUIREMENTS:
Good communication skills, both written and oral
High attention to detail and good follow through in a fast pace environment
Experience in areas of data center system deployment, software deployment, and validation
Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking
Ability to function independently with little direct supervision
Physical Requirements - Candidate needs to be able to lift 50lbs and be flexible enough to get under a raised floor as needed
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
0 - 2 years experience in high tech industry
Relevant degree or equivalent experience
Skilled in MS Office tool suites, Confluence, MS Sharepoint
