Microsoft Corporation has the following opportunity:
Responsible for developing or testing computer software applications, systems or services.Conduct research and lead research collaborations that yield new insights, theories, andanalyses. Evaluate data, algorithms, and prototypes that advance state-of-the-art technology.Develop reports, dashboards, tabular models and analytical insights to drive business success.Produce business intelligence (BI) information by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available informationsources. Design and build BI solutions that improve Microsoft products. Analyze data using avariety of tools and data analysis techniques. Present findings and recommendations tostakeholders. Document and share best practices for BI and reporting, and implement keyperformance indicators (KPIs) to track the impact of Microsoft products. Telecommutingpermitted 50% or more but less than 100%/week within same geographic location as assignedMicrosoft office location.
Requirements: Education: Master's or foreign equivalent in Computer Science; Engineering; BusinessAnalytics; Data Analytics; Business Intelligence; Statistics; Math; Finance; or a relatedfield. Experience: 24 months of experience formulating and analyzing software requirements Specific Skills: Education or Experience in: Statistical Analysis; Data Visualization; SQLServer; Azure Services; Process Improvements; Machine Learning; and Data Modelling.
Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position(V18007916), in Austin, TX, is $135,500 to $165,500 per year.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States,which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographicmarkets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location,such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experienceand skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are madewithin the base pay range applicable at the time. At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annualbonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition,certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization,depending on the terms of the plan and the employees role. Benefits/perks listed may varydepending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan andcompany match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, andwellbeing benefits, among others.
