Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in Austin, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work Youll Do
Perform database administration activities and coordinate with technical and functional teams; understand the criticality of activities and schedule the same accordingly. Work across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall lifecycle for the design, development, testing and implementation of Extract Transform Load (ETL), Analytical and Business reports, and Data Warehouse solutions for enterprise-level clients. Maintain system security by implementing security standards. Implement data integration solutions using dimensional modeling, granularity and source-to-target mapping to integrate new BI/DW requirements. Perform analysis, design, programming and testing for presentation, reporting and data ETL layers of enterprise data warehouse. Design and develop data validation processes, perform data analysis and profiling to identify data gaps using data quality and data profiling tools to rectify data redundancies and anomalies. Work in multidimensional data modeling, including star schemas, snowflakes, normalized and de-normalized models, handling slow-changing dimensions/attributes. Tune performance of complex solutions (both ETL processes and reporting queries) using database administration tools and tuning techniques. Perform analysis, design, programming and testing for presentation, reporting and data ETL layers of enterprise data warehouse, ensuring data design follows the prescribed reference architecture and framework.

Requirements
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:
Utilizing SAP HANA Studio, SAP Cockpit, and SAP HANA Modeling to perform deployments of coding, cloning, refreshing, patching, backups, and restoration of multiple middleware components;
Coordinating with offshore teams to achieve project commitments and complete deliverables, including Project Work Plan, Status Reporting, and Risk and Issue Log;
Testing and implementing reporting data architecture and data integration strategies based on legacy systems, including Boomi integration and business requirements;
Supporting production activities through performance tuning of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) jobs, resolution of production failures, and completion of service desk tickets;
Designing interactive dashboards and data visualization reports using SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) dashboard builder;
Designing database queries, triggers, procedures, functions, and packages for ETL and Data Warehousing (DW) using SAP MaxDB Studio and HANA Cockpit;
Assist with planning, design, managing, and implementing SAP within a defined landscape, install SAP application and maintain application patch level by applying SAP notes and service pack to Java and ABAP stacks; and
Designing and implementing an optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability.
