**Job Description [The Anti-Trafficking Liaison is selected by and responsible to the Anti-Trafficking Team Supervisor and the Health and Wellness Section Manager and performs highly complex consultative services and technical assistance work in support of the agencys anti-trafficking effort. The Anti-Trafficking Liaison is responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of the agencys anti-trafficking effort. Work involves interacting with and assisting diverse populations and human trafficking victims and survivors; analyzing database records; performing extensive research; providing technical assistance on program services; assisting in the preparation of reports and other research projects; developing procedures and practices for identifying and addressing human trafficking; developing resource manuals and other educational tools; providing internal and external training; and collaborating with law enforcement, governmental agencies and community organizations. Travel may be required up to 25% of the time and may include overnights and weekends. The Liaison works under limited supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Performs an array of technical, research, planning, policy, program assessment, and administrative activities in support of the agencys strategic response to human trafficking within regulated programs.

Collaborates with agency staff in program planning, development, implementation, analysis, and documentation of the agencys anti-trafficking efforts.

Assists in interagency coordination related to victim services and facilities/persons suspected of human trafficking.

Analyzes and collects data from TDLR databases and external resources to identify trends and signs of potential human trafficking within the regulated community and/or by unlicensed operators or unlicensed facilities.

Assists in developing protocols, tools, and resources for use by Enforcement, Field Inspections and other agency staff when provided information of potential human trafficking activity or encountering possible human trafficking victims and/or human trafficking environments.

Identifies education needs, challenges, and areas for assistance to develop customized trainings, resource materials, and support plans for internal and external stakeholders.

Determines presentation opportunities, schedules, and provides quality skill-based, awareness, and other human trafficking related training and presentations to internal TDLR employees, local, state, and federal law enforcement, and other government-based agencies, non-governmental organizations, and community groups.

May assist in preparing cases for and present testimony and evidence in formal hearings or court proceedings.

Completes monthly training as assigned, which may include mandatory Employee Assistance Program or other designated training for employees working in traumatic or challenging environments as directed.

Serves as liaison to Agency staff, law enforcement, community organizations, consumers and regulated industries regarding human trafficking activities.

Maintain current knowledge on human trafficking trends and provide information and explanation to internal and external stakeholders.

Update and provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports and strategic planning on assigned outreach, training, and technical support areas.

May interact with and exchange information with various state or federal law enforcement organizations.

Collects, organizes, analyzes, and/or prepares materials in response to requests for program information.

Attend partnership meetings, workgroup meetings, and/or local and state task force meetings as needed.

May analyze legislation and assists with development of recommendations for rules, policy and programmatic issues relating to TDLRs anti-trafficking effort. May participate in Cost Estimate, Bill Analysis, or other agency legislative and/or implementation teams.
