    JOB SUMMARY:

The AHFH Community Partnership Coordinator plays a pivotal role in fostering partnerships and securing support from corporate entities. This position operates within the Development and Engagement Department, collaborating closely with team members to identify, cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate donors and sponsors. The Community Partnership Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of corporate engagement from initial outreach to ongoing stewardship with the aim of maximizing financial contributions and advancing the mission of the organization.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Corporate Partnership Development:

  • Identify and research potential community partners, including corporate and community organizations and churches who align with the organizations mission and programs

  • Develop and execute strategies to cultivate relationships with prospects

  • Collaborate with the Senior Development Manager to create customized sponsorship proposals and pitches tailored to the interests and objectives of partners

  • Negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefits for both the organization and sponsors

  • Follow up with all individuals who submit interest forms for group volunteering opportunities though the AHFH website. Complete introductory phone calls with every group with the goal of growing partnerships and volunteer pipelines

  • Manage and schedule volunteer groups to participate in employee engagement opportunities as part of their sponsorship benefits (including build days, ReStore and Home Repair).

  • Participate in pre-build meeting coordination, introducing Sponsors and communicating expectations, needs, etc.

  • Work closely with the Engagement department to ensure success of sponsors’ employee engagement opportunities

  • Attend events hosted by sponsor groups to share the mission of Austin Habitat for Humanity with their workforce

    Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all partners, maintaining regular communication to strengthen relationships and address inquiries

  • Coordinate community partner engagement activities, including sponsorship activations, employee volunteer opportunities and cause-related marketing campaigns

  • Monitor and track the fulfillment of sponsorship agreements, ensuring that deliverables are met on time and withing budget

  • Conduct regular check-ins with partners to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for further collaboration or support

  • Maintain consistent Sponsor communication through project completion

    Event Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the Events Coordinator to integrate sponsors into fundraising events, galas and other special initiatives

  • Ensure that sponsors receive appropriate recognition and visibility before, during and after events

  • Coordinating and managing the attendance of Sponsors to all project dedications in collaboration with AHFH staff

  • Attend all Sponsor related AHFH project dedications to assist with Sponsor recognition

  • Follow-up on any reporting and paperwork required by Sponsor as per their commitment

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Communications or related field

  • Previous experience in corporate fundraising, sales, marketing or relationship management

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with corporate representatives, donors and internal stakeholders

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g. Blackbaud/Raisers Edge)

  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of the non-profit sector

  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings for events or meetings as needed

    COMPENSATION :

  • $50,000 - $60,000 commensurate with experience.
