Performs highly advanced professional, administrative and/or consultative work in support of emergency response, business continuity and disaster recovery programs or projects. Work requires extensive contact with all divisions within ITD and department district/division management. Employees at this level establish their own work plan and priorities and are problem solvers. Essential Duties: Represents ITD at the EOC meetings. Prepares emergency event communication and updates to ITD. Coordinates responses to ITD requests for emergency assistance and resources. Monitors participation in business continuity plans and emergency management programs and assists district and division representatives in matters related to the plans and programs. Reviews and evaluates risk assessments, business impact analysis plans and planning proposals and materials. Maintains ITD EOC process documentation and creates/delivers EOC training for ITD; during EOC, reports directly to CIO for updates or needs as requested by CIO. Creates and delivers post-event reports and quarterly reviews on readiness to Section leadership Maintains ITD EOC process documentation and creates/delivers EOC training for ITD. Responsible for asset inventory of PPE and HERO box equipment, and plan to distribute equipment for use in alignment with Maintenance Division. Maintains ITD Disaster Recovery process documentation that includes Business Impact, Recovery Time and Recovery Point Objectives. Supports operational areas to maintain documentation for system and technology specific disaster recovery plans. Works with Asset Management and the DCS team, ensures TxDOT CMDB parity with DIR ServiceNow Coordinates with STR on COOP and ensures ITD dependencies are documented in agency documentation. Manages project schedules to plan and execute EOC, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery activities. Assesses and communicates risks or issues with execution of EOC, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery activities. Leads regular meetings with ITD leadership and key stakeholders related to EOC, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery activities. Serves as a program leader.
