What To Expect
Always attentive to guests and team
Share your thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menu in order to answer all questions from guests and team
Engage with guests and be able to recommend cocktails and suggest alternatives
Serve food, wine, cocktails and beverages
Follows craft cocktail recipes and ensure consistency
Inputs all orders into the POS system accurately
Clear and reset tables
Demonstrate an understanding of our steps of service
Engage in communication and active listening to effectively deliver accurate messaging to both guests and teammates
Willing and able to stay up to date on beverage trends, knowledge and internal practices
Perform opening and closing side work
Responsible to monitor, restock, and replenish bar par levels, inventory and supplies
Keep track of inventory to ensure both bar and tables are appropriately stocked
Ensure work area is in compliance with health codes at all times

You Should Have
Prefer (2) or more years of bar experience in a high volume fine or casual dining restaurant
A valid TABC Certification and Food Handlers Certification is required and must be obtained before entering this position
Proven knowledge and understanding of craft/creative cocktails and wine
PHYSICAL AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift.
Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb and carry objects as necessary.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to work in a fast pace and high-volume environment in the presence of areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, dancing, bright lights and dust and communicate during this time – sometimes within a small area.
Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes.
