Monitor program budgets and exercise comprehensive financial oversight of all program expenditures. Ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence to budgetary constraints, while identifying opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization. Oversee financial and operational reporting, providing detailed analysis and data as required by Dell Medical School, the Department, funding agencies, and contracted affiliate partners.Develop and implement new educational program initiatives, from conceptual design to full execution. Collaborate with key stakeholders to project manage programs, ensuring seamless transitions from design phases through to contracting and operational execution. Oversee program contracting for significant departmental events such as residency and fellowship graduations and grand rounds, ensuring all logistical and operational aspects are handled efficiently.Oversee and manage a team of staff members, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the successful execution of program objectives. Drive recruiting and selection processes, as well as the orientation and ongoing professional development of our learners. Develop, monitor, and continuously assess the human, technical, and operational capacity of the team to meet program priorities effectively.Serve as the Departments liaison to Dell Medical School and UT Austin committees that require departmental Education Pillar representation. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to foster partnerships that support and enhance educational program impact. Represent the program and department at key events, including professional conferences, trainings, and other relevant forums. Oversee the development of policies, processes, training materials, and other assets to ensure the effectiveness of educational programs. Ensure the quality and consistency of vendor deliverables and manage relationships with external vendors to support program goals. Provide regular reports on productivity, program performance, and financial metrics to departmental leadership and other stakeholders as required.Analyze and present information, reports, and data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic decisions. Author reports to meet the requirements of funding agencies, stakeholders, and medical school leadership. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
