Description

As the Solution Architect for AppleCare Finance, you will represent AppleCare Finance in multiple, parallel SAP projects with the goal of ensuring accuracy in financial treatment of AC Sales and Supply Chain activities in SAP. In the process, you will: - Collaborate with geographically-dispersed cross functional teams such as AC Business Development, AC Business Process Reengineering, Global Business Solutions, Legal, Procurement, Trade Compliance etc. to understand the objective, scope and roadmap of projects involving Apple Care Finance. - Closely engage with regional and global AC Finance teams to comprehend finance business requirements and effectively translate them into technical requirements for IS&T - Leverage finance, business and system knowledge and expertise to drive business operational improvements between disparate processes and functions - Understand diverse needs across regional partners and negotiate solutions that meet overall business needs with global standardization and prioritization. - Generate and vet possible solutions; build, test, and refine models - Perform thorough user acceptance testing to ensure the projects meet all Finance requirements before any system changes are implemented - Screen production support issues acting as Level 1 support for AC Finance team and working with IS&T support org to resolve the issues - Ensure business teams and partners are prepared for system and process changes, including training plans for knowledge transfer to sustaining teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience with systems implementations and software development life cycle; SAP S/4 HANA certification is helpful

  • Proven track record of completing daring projects, working closely with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities

  • See beyond the current state, identify risks/opportunities and drive project teams toward the desired outcomes.

  • Possess a strong process re-engineering proficiency

  • Sharp attention to detail yet, understand the big picture

  • Possess strong decision-making, problem solving and prioritization skills

  • Ability to work comfortably with high level of ambiguity and navigate through a large organization

  • Service, support, warranty contract, and/or supply chain experience preferred
