Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Austin, Texas. This role is primarily based in the accounting industry where you will be expected to handle customer applications, maintain customer records, and resolve customer inquiries. Furthermore, you will be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain precise records

• Manage a blend of accounts receivable and payable tasks

• Ensure the prices match purchase orders and generate custom invoicing

• Modify credit policies, limiting credit offerings to specific customers

• Assist in setting up new customers and managing collections

• Handle challenges related to accounting data migration and transition to lockbox

• Utilize proprietary software systems for accounting tasks

• Maintain detail oriented email etiquette, software skills, and provide excellent customer service

• Coordinate the change of invoices due to name changes in the business

• Initiate easy collections before moving on to more complex billing tasks Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is expected.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must.

• Understanding and experience in diverse Accounting Functions is required.

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.

• Experience in Billing Functions is necessary.

• Ability to monitor and track Cash Activity is expected.

• Experience in Cash Handling is required.

• Prior experience in Collections is a significant advantage.
