What You Will Be Doing:
The Rebuild Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the rebuild process by developing accurate and detailed rebuild estimates, customizing certified rebuild quotes, and managing individual rebuild projects. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide accurate serial number specific certified rebuild estimates, quotes, and templates (service segments with parts lists) using SIS2.0, PSQ, SOC, SIMSi, TMI, ERLG, TRG, etc.
Perform machine inspections for rebuild opportunities.
Maintain machine rebuild “Standard Jobs” database with quotes and estimates.
Provide rebuild estimates to PSSR’s within a 48 hour timeframe of request
Quote Dealer and CAT Certified rebuilds (components and machine rebuilds)
Interface with Parts and Service Operations Management opening rebuild work orders after quotes have been finalized to order parts and plan for the rebuild
Maintain high volume/high complexity/low risk price material for PSSR’s
Additional Responsibilities:
Train rebuild technicians to understand the rebuild quotes, scope of work, special instructions, Etc.
Monitor warranty enrollments and ensure accuracy during rebuild processes.
Develop and produce Certified Rebuild quotes and Standard Jobs reports, as required
Adherence to all Yancey Bros. Co. Safety procedures and standards
Other special projects as assign by manager
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should have prior Caterpillar technical experience, be able to provide a superior customer experience, have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently. This position will place you in both office and shop setting.
Education/Experience:
High school or equivalent
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Caterpillar technical experience preferred.
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel required
Knowledge of all Uptake platforms (PSQ, SIS, Service Link, Sales Link, etc.) preferred.
