Description

A company located in the Western Suburbs is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing and coding invoices, data entry within Excel, matching receipts for reconciliation, and backup to accounts receivable. Excel reports are a daily task, so the Accounts Payable Specialist must be proficient.

Responsibilities

• Patch up discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

• Assist Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing

• Codify documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes

• Assist Accounts Receivable: help with collection of past due balance, process daily invoices/credit, and apply cash receipt
