Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Program Planning Scheduling Analyst – Level 1 or 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This opportunity will be located in Aurora, CO and will be onsite. This position will support our Payload & Ground Systems division.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Preparing, developing and coordinating the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives
Ensuring program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.
Implementing scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to:
DCMA 14-point
IPMR DI-MGMT-81861
Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Critical Path Analysis
Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)
Schedule Performance, Health Metrics and Analysis
Provides weekly and monthly status and reporting
Tracking plans and schedules
Creating, maintaining and validating Schedule data
Performing risk analysis and management
Identifying and resolving critical path and network logic conflicts
Utilizing Gantt, milestone charts, Earned Value Management (EVM) and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances
This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
This position can be hired at either a Level 1 (Associate) or Level 2 (Analyst).
Basic Qualifications for Level 1:
High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of work experience or Bachelor’s degree
An additional 4+ years of work experience may be considered in lieu of education
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Current, active SCI clearance
Basic Qualifications for Level 2:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience – OR – Master’s degree with 1+ years of related experience
An additional 4+ years of work experience may be considered in lieu of education
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Current, active SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with scheduling software (i.e., MS Project 2016, Open Plan, PS3, Primavera P6, Milestone Professional, Deltek, SSI Tools)
Proficient in MS Project 2016
Experience with resource loading Schedules
Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience and Schedule Management
Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)
Current, active TS/SCI Security Clearance
Salary Range: $62,600 - $93,800
Salary Range 2: $75,700 - $113,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
