Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical:
Eight half-day Endocrinology clinics a week. Each half day is 4 hours.
Up to two - four weeks of inpatient attending
Clinics will be decreased if working inpatient
Outpatient and inpatient work will equal a total of a 1.0FTE
Teaching:
- Teaching of medical students, residents and fellow in inpatient/outpatient settings
Scholarly activity
Attendance at conferences within the Division and Department
QA/QI projects
Required Competencies: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Prior fellowship training in Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes

Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants should be enthusiastic about a career in academic medicine with a strong interest in providing excellent clinical care in the outpatient and inpatient setting. There should be a desire for teaching and writing and an interest in opportunities in clinical research.

Overall Description of Responsibility or Nature of Work This is an Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor position in the division of Endocrinology. The primary responsibility is outpatient and inpatient care for patients with all types of endocrine disorders. This person would serve as a general endocrinologist in CU Medicine outpatient clinics as well as attend on the general Endocrinology inpatient service. This provider will also provide clinical services for patients with Endocrine complications from Oncologic therapy. This provider would ideally also serve role as a liaison between Endocrinology and Oncology. Other responsibilities would include teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. There is an expectation of scholarly activity. This is a 1.0 FTE position. Your duties in this faculty position will include: These clinics will be at the Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as Instructor $120,000 - $125,000Assistant Prof $156,400 - $160,000Associate Professor $181,199 - $210,000 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
