Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Patient care at Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) Anschutz Medical Campus and CHCO's Network of Care sites.
This position is 80% clinical and 20% teaching/scholarship.
Teaching responsibilities include the supervision of dermatology and pediatric residents and pediatric dermatology fellows in clinic, mentorship, and educating medical students, residents and fellows through didactic lectures and participation in conferences and grand rounds.
Physician will be expected to have or develop an academic focus or area of expertise relevant to Pediatric Dermatology and be involved in scholarly activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Assistant Professor:
MD/DO degree
0-4 years of experience
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Dermatology
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Pediatric Dermatology
Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Colorado
Associate Professor:
MD/DO degree
4-7 years of experience
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Dermatology
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Pediatric Dermatology
Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Colorado
Professor:
MD/DO degree and 7+ years of experience
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Dermatology
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Pediatric Dermatology
Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Colorado
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years of previous pediatric dermatology experience preferred
DEA Certificate
Expertise in at least one of the following concentrations:
Cutaneous autoimmunity/connective tissue disorders
Cutaneous malignancies
Cutaneous procedures and surgery
Inpatient dermatology
Vascular anomalies
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as Assistant Professor: $250,660 to $259,719Associate Professor: $266,732 to $282,002 Professor: $291,037 to $302,074 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
