Solidus is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator.

Success in this role means you are able to develop, implement and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.

This position is located in Aurora, CO. Candidates must be able to work on-site.

Day in the Life: - Provide IT systems administration of RedHat Enterprise Linux environments. - Understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods. - Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. - Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS). - Understanding of data RAID, data backup uses and technologies. Install and configure software applications requested by end users. - Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned. - Must be able to develop solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems. - Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours. - Travel required to other US Domestic locations as business needs dictate up to 5% travel.

What you will bring: - US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI w. SSBI Poly - BS in STEM and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or a MS and 5 years of prior relevant experience - An active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND - Linux experience - Experience administering Red Hat Linux based systems - Extensive Linux automation and scripting experience - Experience with patching, creating/maintaining RPM packages - Experience with performance tuning, networking, user management (LDAP), and security hardening - Administer, maintain and troubleshoot Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket) - Experience with Jenkins automation - Configuration of Scanning tools Nessus/McAfee - Proficiency with Enterprise level administration of common services such as DNS and LDAP - Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented - Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency - Requires the ability to effectively interact with external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and vendors

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $165,000 - $240,000. Customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies and certifications, clearance status, and benefit selections will influence the final salary.
