Raytheon have an opportunity for a Information Systems Security Engineer. The ISSE will join our program engineering team in Aurora, CO, supporting a high priority 24x7 operational system.

What You Will Do:

The ISSE performs core activities to include providing certified services and support for Information Assurance/Program Protection efforts for compliance with governing DoD Cybersecurity directives. This position will support activities of the program to target, assess, and report risks and vulnerabilities of Intelligence Community organization systems in order to provide senior decision makers with actionable data to make strategic decisions. The ISSE shall perform, or review, technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability and non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards, regulations and recommend mitigation strategies. This position is responsible for the maintenance and administration of multiple domains, including a 24/7 operational system and a test facility. Must be willing to occasionally provide after­ hour support to the 24/7 operational system.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management.

• Typically requires a university Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

• TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance required: "Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance."

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
