Robert Half HR Generalist in Aurora, Colorado
Description
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in the manufacturing industry, based in Aurora, Colorado. In this role, your primary function will be to manage full cycle employee relations activities, including communications, conflict resolution, and coaching to employees and managers. This position will be fully onsite and the hours you will work is 11am-8pm (no exceptions).
Responsibilities:
• Provide daily Human Resource guidance, advice, and support to employees and managers on all functional areas of HR including benefits administration, leave of absence, and payroll coordination.
• Assist with compliance with federal, state and local laws, regulations, and ordinances including FMLA, ADAAA, EEO, FLSA, ADEA, HIPPA, Title 7, USERRA and Workers Compensation.
• Participate in recruiting for hourly clientele and assist with onboarding/orientation as required.
• Engage in company-wide HR initiatives and long-term HR planning.
• Conduct employee investigations and manage the investigation process from start to finish with proper documentation and employee/management follow up.
• Partner with managers in matters of policies, practices and procedures for the organization to ensure uniformity of application of company policy and compliance with current and pending legal regulations.
• Assist with implementing HR policies and procedures, respond to employees’ inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs and promote understanding and compliance by all employees.
• Establish and maintain department records and reports. Effectively and efficiently fulfill all applicable reporting and compliance requirements.
• Assist with performance management efforts, including annual performance review training for manager and employee.
• Conduct safety investigation and training meetings as assigned.
Requirements • Must have a thorough understanding of Benefit Functions within a manufacturing context
• Excellent Communication skills are required for effective interaction with staff at all levels
• Demonstrated knowledge of Compliance regulations and standards in the manufacturing industry
• Experience in handling Employee Relations and resolving workplace conflicts
• Proven track record in Corporate Recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
• Familiarity with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies and procedures
• Ability to drive Employee Engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment
• Proficient in Employee Performance Management to ensure optimal productivity and growth TalentMatch®
