We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Aurora, CO . In this role you will be the primary and single point of contact for projects of all sizes, scopes and levels of complexity within our Operations team.

The Role

  • Plans, organizes and manages projects within scope, timeline and budget expectations

  • Leads projects with a balanced focus on achievement of targeted outcomes, meeting internal and external stakeholder needs and creating efficiencies/reducing costs

  • Provides full life cycle project leadership, including initial planning and assessment, project resourcing/team building, documentation/reporting and post-close project analysis

  • Identifies and mitigates potential project risks and issues, implementing effective risk management strategies

  • Regularly communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders, providing clear direction and status updates

  • Prepares and provides executive status updates – including both the technical and human-sides of project management

  • Manages a team of internal and external sources through project completion

  • May include travel to site locations between 20%-60% of the time

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct project management experience is required

  • Experience in contracts with RUS, NTIA, BEAD, E-ACAM required

  • Experience with TERO & the Davis-Bacon Act required

  • Strong understanding of fiber optic architecture and construction methods for installation a must

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Professional certifications are preferred but not necessary – PMP, Scrum Master, Lean/Agile, etc.

  • Ability to work independently, be self-driven and a highly organized problem solver

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Ability to speak with a wide variety of people

  • Experienced using project tracking tools, such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
