Job Overview

The Clinical Social Worker, Entry is a non-licensed Social Worker.The Entry level CSW conducts psycho-social assessments and interventions with patients/families and serves as a liaison with multi-disciplinary care team and external community agencies to implement interventions, while receiving instruction and guidance from higher level Clinical Social Workers.

Department Name: Clinical Social Work Shift: Ful time, 40 hours per week.uesday-Friday 8-4:30pm Saturday's 8-4:30pm. weekend is part of the schedule. We rotate holidays so yes and on call.CSW Float, In person

Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree in Social Work Experience: Experience with providing psychosocial support to children and families is preferred. Licensure(s):Clinical Social Work Candidacy must be obtained within 6 months. This position may require a BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Develops, implements, and monitors service/treatment interventions that provide a variety of services to meet patient/family needs. May participate in department wide committees. Develops a therapeutic relationship with the patients and families to assist with the social, financial, and psychological problems associated with hospitalization and/or outpatient treatment. Develops and maintains relationships with peers within and outside of the department as well as community resources. Conducts initial needs assessment to gather in ormation on the patient/family's medical, social, and financial history. Serves as a liaison with multi-disciplinary care teams and external community agencies to identify, implement, and monitor treatment goals. Facilitates staffing, care conferences, etc. to coordinate care between the treatment team. Compiles and prepares case records, reports, and documents that comply
