The Adult and Child Center for Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) is seeking a full-time Research Services Professional to support a NIH grant entitled, "Targeting Family Meal Quality and Quantity to Reduce Childhood Obesity Using Ecological Momentary Intervention (EMI) and Video Feedback". The study intervenes with families with young children around their family meals using innovating technology (i.e., ecological momentary intervention and video feedback) and in-person education. This is a 5-year grant that is funded through the end of 2025 and will report to the Intervention Director. This position will work on a team of Community Health Workers (CHW) who will work with 500+ families across Denver, CO and the Twin Cities, MN providing a 6-month intervention around improving the quality and quantity of family meals, using motivational interviewing and SMART goal setting. Some families will receive the intervention 100% virtually and others will receive a combination of virtual and in-person visits. Virtual visits will all take place out of the study's office at Anschutz medical campus and in-person visits will take place in participant's homes. Therefore, this position is not expected to have any remote (i.e., from the candidate's home) work. Additionally, because this study intervenes with families, all visits will need to occur when the family is available. Afternoon/evening and weekend visits are what we expect families to request. The CHW will: work directly (in-person and virtual) with families to help them create healthy home environments; will develop and use Motivational Interviewing skills and SMART goal setting with families; will engage in video-recorded supervision and feedback to improve their CHW skills and work with families to improve their home food environments; will oversee case management via RedCap and other platforms to advance families in the Family Matters Program; will help develop program materials for families; and other activities related to advancing families in the Family Matters program.

– this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
