The Lead Data Product Manager will work within the Data and Analytics Business Intelligence team. The team is a Shared Services area focused on data, reporting and data science supporting Humana’s Service Operations. The team is focused on converting data to actionable insights for our business partners who can utilize the same, to reduce administrative cost and improve the customer’s experience.
The Lead Data Product Manager is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to identify data needs by leveraging the data flow throughout an entire product lifecycle and documenting the data requirements for each new capability, functionality, or product. This individual works as a liaison and manages data features between the solution and product teams.
In this role, you will have an opportunity to influence the design and development of a solution in order to provide data sets that improve the quality and insights to business partners.
The ideal candidate :
Defines problem statements, features, value, benefit hypothesis, and identify teams needed to deliver work
Prioritizes features spanning across all technical delivery teams supporting data
Ensures product owners have clear understanding of objectives, strategy, and success criteria
Translates the business needs to data requirements
Consults in capability development
Models and encourages Agile behaviors within the team
Identifies opportunities for process improvements
Performs in-depth data analysis to derive insights that drives business outcomes and decisions
Manages multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Required Qualifications
3 or more years of experience in product ownership AND/OR product management experience
2 or more years of project leadership experience
Working knowledge of Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, or Agile Development Methodologies
Excellent communication and presentation skills to include the ability to communicate and present technical details to senior and/or executive level leadership
Critical thinker who can anticipate team needs and take initiative to present ideas, ask the right questions and deliver the highest quality work
Problem solver who can find viable solutions that meets business needs, absent from all ideal tools and resources.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Certified SAFe® Product Owner/ Product Manager or equivalent
Experience working in the healthcare/health insurance industry
Six Sigma certification(s)
Experience with Genesys or other consumer experience equivalent platforms
Experience producing metrics, measurements, trend reports, problem analysis and process improvement
Knowledge of Cloud Computing
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$126,300 - $173,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
