Key Responsibilities

Diagnostic Excellence: Conduct precise diagnostic and analytic testing, ensuring accurate specimen collection, interpretation, and documentation of test results.

Quality Assurance: Perform quality control testing, maintain laboratory instruments, and troubleshoot issues to uphold high standards.

Accuracy and Precision: Verify the accuracy, precision, and sensitivity of various test methods, contributing to reliable patient care.

Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members, clinicians, and other stakeholders to support seamless patient care and laboratory operations.

Innovative Problem-Solving: Use your problem-solving skills to address complex issues and contribute to continuous improvement in laboratory practices.

Requirements:

  • Education: A graduate of a NAACLS accredited MLT or MLS program. A bachelor's degree with appropriate clinical experience may be considered.

  • Certifications: One of the following certifications is strongly preferred within 6 months of hire: American Society of Clinical Pathologists- Medical Laboratory Technician: MLT (ASCP) or Medical Laboratory Scientist: MLS or MT (ASCP); or American Medical Technologists - Medical Laboratory Technician: MLT (AMT) or Medical Technologist: MT (AMT).

  • Experience: Previous experience in a laboratory setting is advantageous, but we are eager to train motivated individuals with a passion for healthcare.

  • Flexibility: A degree of flexibility, including weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations.

    Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person Schedule: Full-time, Evening positions are available. Our commitment to work-life balance includes rotating weekends (every third) and holidays, empowering you to plan your time well in advance.
