Apply Location RHCC Auburn WA Position Trainer 1-RW0271 Job Description Raymond West is looking for an experienced Scheduled Maintenance Trainer to join our training team! The SMF position supports the Technical Training team by facilitating specific courses within Raymond Corporation and OSHA guidelines. This role is responsible for conducting new hire training, including Safety on the Move (SOTM), Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP), safety policies, and Scheduled Maintenance (SM) for technicians. Additional delivery needs will be determined by strategic initiatives and overall business need. Raymond West is committed to providing our customers with end-to-end warehouse solutions. Duties and Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position. Typical responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive. Provide professional training consistent with Raymond Corporation and OSHA guidelines and requirements. Deliver forklift operator and aerial lift operator training and recertifications as needed across RW. Perform New Hire Orientation at multiple locations. Complete training for existing and new hire employees. Be willing to assume additional duties are required. Assist Course Managers (CM) with the administration of the SM Program. Prepare and facilitate SM Programs, in accordance with the SM CM's Notebook. Work with the S&SC's CM to suggest program improvements. Regularly communicate with the S&SC's CM to receive program updates. Perform technician SM audits after the technician has completed the SM training. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, co-workers, and managers in other departments Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required Update training and skills on a continuous basis. Education/Experience: Minimum Education and Experience: Determined by position High School Diploma or equivalent required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. The position requires travel to customer locations. Preferred Training Facilitation Certifications Preferred Technical Course Certifications Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus Travel Requirement: Up to 50% Must be able to be insured by Raymond West.
