R.H. White Construction Co. Inc. Journeyman Electrician in Auburn, Massachusetts
Position Summary: The electrician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in buildings, factories, and other facilities. Ensure that electrical systems and equipment is functioning safely and efficiently. Responsibilities: Adhere to and promote all Company Safety Policies and the Company Code of Conduct. Install or repair of VFDs and associated systems. Complete all electrical connections in strict accordance with all applicable state & local codes. Identify and diagnose safety concerns and compliance within safety codes for electrical systems and equipment. Install and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, and other electrical equipment. Prepare sketches or follow blueprints and circuit drawings to determine the proper location of electrical equipment and to ensure conformance to electrical and safety codes. Execute sequence of installation and adjust as needed to meet the construction schedule. Test electrical systems to ensure compatibility and safety of the system. Maintain accurate time and material records. Perform physically demanding work while working from ladders, scaffolds or on roofs. Maintain up to date as-builts records when changes are made to an electrical system. Repair and maintain electric motors, control centers and circuit controls. Perform preventative maintenance work and troubleshoot issues. Performs other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as required. Requirements: Accreditation from technical/trades school, High school diploma, or GED, and additional specialized training required for licensing. Have and maintain Journeyman Electrical license in Massachusetts. Four years or more experience in industrial construction trades. Strong written and verbal skills. Ability to prepare detailed estimates to complete a given job. OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).
