Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Candidate will be primarily in the stockroom: receiving inventory from incoming trucks using pallet jacks, carts, scanners and computer input. Will verify packaging slip matches the incoming freight. Stock new materials from Receiving into correct aisles. Maintain FIFO (first in first out) part bin management. Count materials needed for manufacturing floor and distribute when needed. Bring final material from manufacturing floor to Shipping area using hilo or pallet jack. Export finished product into outgoing trucks, scanning inventory out and ensuring accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive inventory from incoming trucks using pallet jacks, carts, scanners, and computer input.

Essential Skills

• 1+ day of experience using scanners or hand scan gun.

• 6+ months of experience using a pallet jack within a warehouse/manufacturing plant.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 4-6 times per shift.

• Experience using computers, including turning on, clicking/opening documents, and reading instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• SAP experience.

• Hilo experience (sit down or stand up).

Work Environment

Extremely clean, 5S manufacturing facility. Everything has a place, even the trash can has a taped-off area where it needs to be. Stock room can fluctuate in temperature with the seasons due to the S&R doors opening and closing. Would bring a coat or jacket with hat and gloves just so you don't get cold.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00
