US Farathane Service/Repack Team Lead in Auburn Hills, Michigan

Through highly technical research and development, coupled with a diverse and knowledgeable Management Team and dedicated Associates, US Farathane has continued to grow each year. We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPE's and TPO's as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.

We are currently seeing a Service/Repack Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and preparing products for shipping ensuring that our products are properly packaged and delivered to customers safely.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Prepare and pack all service products for shipment.
  • Repack for production and service parts as needed.
  • Follow instructions and pay close attention to detail to ensure that products are packed correctly and efficiently.
  • Fulfill orders by arranging inventory in correct packaging and std pack quantity and preparing them for shipment.
  • Interpret orders (picks) to determine which items need to be sent out, quality control assessments and stacking items safely and securely in the right packaging.
  • Inspect and repack various products, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
  • Prepare products for shipment, maintained cleanliness and organization in the work environment.
  • Assist with monitoring and managing orders and inventory.
  • communicating the need for restock, assisting with scrap management, and notifying QA/Ops of rework for rejected products or damaged boxes.
  • Pull, pack, and label products based on daily/weekly orders.
  • Ensure all packages are properly packaged, labeled and sealed.
  • Fulfill the specific parts and quantities of customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Keep products separated, organized, and accessible.
  • Maintain supply of required packaging materials.
  • Partner with CSR and Scheduler to ensure parts needed are produced in time.
  • Escalate any short ships 2 days prior to shipment due date.
  • Ensure packages are not damaged, overpacked, or under packed, and that they meet shipping regulations.
  • Assemble daily/weekly orders by shipping location or any other shipping categories.
  • Follow job book instructions to ensure proper packaging is used for service & re-pack of production intent parts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hi-lo certification
  • Self-directed and excellent time management skills
  • Experience with Parts+, Excel, and email
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, shift, twist, rotate, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and lift up to 50lbs.
