The Jacobs team is the largest water market practice in the Atlanta area with a team of 125 determined, high-performing individuals working with most major metro-area clients on a vast array of projects. Our water market team is made up of professionals working in:

  • Water/Wastewater Process

  • Civil/Conveyance

  • Water Resources

  • Engineering & Design

  • Construction Management

  • Tunnels & Geotech

As an intern, you will work alongside our project managers, engineers, and scientist delivering solution on real-world projects for our clients. We are looking for driven, self-starters to join our team for the Summer of 2025.

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science/Masters of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, or Geotechnical Engineering in an accredited program

  • Must be at least a rising Junior

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • 3.0 GPA

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or other discipline specific software

  • A previous internship related to your field of study

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs

  • Strong time management and organizational skills
