W.W. Williams Warranty Administrator in Atlanta, Georgia
Warranty Administrator Opportunity Summary:
The Warranty Administrator is responsible for collecting funds due the company from various manufacturers for work we have performed on their behalf as part of the warranty process. Collects these funds by strictly adhering to the manufacturer's warranty process to ensure all work scheduled is performed safely and to the customer's satisfaction.
Job Duties:
- Review documentation generated by the Service Department for all pertinent information required to submit the claim to the factory.
- Interprets and converts all work performed into manufacturers' labor segment codes and the related approved labor reimbursement amounts.
- Complies with any requirements to support the computer claim by providing the necessary supporting documents.
- Investigate in advance of a repair by using the manufacturer's computer systems to determine whether a product is under warranty coverage.
- Review status reports. Stay abreast of all factory communications that affect the warranty area of the Service Department.
- Contributes to the total Support Center team by maintaining the current job status on all computer service tracking systems when needed.
Work Experience and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months of related experience and/or training.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
