Position Summary

The Training and Technical Assistant Program Manager will act as the project lead on a federally funded regional substance use project. The TTS will work with the team, internal and external stakeholders to meet the project deliverables and accomplish the program objectives. The TTS will work closely with community partners to address substance use issues within their communities and assist in the development of products and resources to meet those needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university

Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in program manager capacity

• Experience working in higher education or community-based organizations

• Excellent Project Management Skills

• High proficiency in Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience working on programs with national reach

• Ability to anticipate and solve problems with limited direction

• Ability to create and implement processes for tracking and monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree from a regionally accredited college or university

  • Experience Leading extensive regional programs and activities.

  • Experience or knowledge of substance use disorders.

Job Duties

Description of Job Duty

  • Facilitate additional learning opportunities, data gathering and product development.

  • Oversee resource development for the various projects.

  • Serve as state liaison between SE ATTC and community partners

  • Determine TA need(s) of assigned state(s)

  • Determine, develop, and cultivate constituent relations

  • Support data collection efforts, including network-wide studies

  • Participate in Southeast ATTC sponsored regional activities

  • Coordinate and staff resource table at trainings and conferences.
