Allied Universal is looking to hire a Training and Compliance Manager for the Hartsfield Jackson Airport / Atlanta, GA . This position administers, organizes, and conducts company and client training programs for all employees assigned to client facility. They assess several elements and alternatives providing input to update policy and procedure based on client needs, train new employees and assist lower-level personnel, and ensure client contract training and certification requirements are tracked and accounted for. They report directly to the site Security Director.

Ideal candidate must meet the following requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Aviation or related field, OR graduated from a city, state, or federal Law Enforcement Academy or Have a record of Military Service as an Instructor

  • Be able to work outside a Monday-Friday schedule when needed

  • Must have great organization skills as this position has much administrative responsibilities

  • Must be able to obtain an American Association of Airport Executives Certification and Airport Certified Employee for Security within 1 year of start date

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for monthly training and drill metrics and reports (presented to client in monthly and quarterly meetings)

  • Responsible for client SOP updates and immediate dissemination of SOP updates to security supervisors and security staff, retraining and counseling of trainers as appropriate

  • Create and implement a “train the trainer” OJT Program/New Hire training

  • Update and implement Supervisory Training Program

  • Maintain Incident Report standards and training

  • Operate as the "Manager on Duty" for a regularly scheduled rotation on either 2nd or 3rd shifts

  • Integration of AUS LMS system for the security team

  • Plans, organizes, and conducts training programs, seminars, and conferences for all security personnel assign to the client's facility.

  • Writes material for new training programs; reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs; recommends appropriate changes to existing LMS LMSining programs.

  • Prepares and distributes training aids such as instructional material, handouts and evaluation forms, makes presentations when necessary.

  • Contacts attendees and department representatives about training program.

  • Schedules the appropriate classroom and prepares the physical setup.

  • Ability to work a flexible shift to accommodate training needs of staff on all shifts

  • Performs other duties as assigned by account manager

  • Conduct Mobility Devices (e.g., vehicles, Trike, golf cart) training.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Aviation or related field, OR graduated from a city, state, or federal Law Enforcement Academy or Have a record of Military Service as an Instructor

  • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing as required to include, but not limited to:

  • CPR/First AID/AED AEDtified Instructor

  • Instructor certifications in supplement training areas as required by local office (OJT, Supervisor, Crisis Prevention Intervention, Practical Driver Training Courses, or any other client-specific training as required)

  • Must have a valid driver’s license or be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

  • Minimum of two (2) years of classroom or operational instructor experience

  • Ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision.

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients.

  • Ability to write manuals, review, and respond to written requests for proposals, training documents, and prepare extensive presentations is required.

  • Highly proficient and fully functional in Microsoft programs such as Word and PowerPoint and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology.

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.

  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :

  • Ability to communicate with company employees, trainers from other companies, professional training group members, and consultants by phone, in person, or through correspondence

  • Ability to perform duties with minimal direction.
