Salary range for this position is $125,000 - $170,000 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and/or review the Company’s annual worldwide income tax accounting process in accordance with ASC 740, including effective tax rate, deferred taxes, and disclosures for external and internal reporting purposes.

  • Lead the preparation and review of the Quarterly Fin18 process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.

  • Preparation of Forecasted Pre-Tax Book Income, in coordination with FP&A and other related cross-functional teams on a quarterly basis to begin the forecasted provision process.

  • Prepare and validate tax journal entries, ensuring the correct submission and input of entries within the company's financial systems. Collaborate with the accounting team to rectify any discrepancies.

  • Review consolidated FIN48 (Uncertain Tax Positions) and incorporate into One Source Tax Provision system.

  • Maintain deferred tax schedules, return to provision reconciliations, and FIN48 analysis.

  • Liaise with international controllers for supporting documentation on income tax accounting calculations, journal entries, payment support, etc.

  • Liaise with international controllers to ensure compliance with local tax laws and integration of global tax positions.

  • Preparation of tax account reconciliations of the tax payable / receivable accounts from both a US federal and state perspective.

  • Extracting and analyzing data from the Company’s ERP system and/or consolidation software to facilitate and support analysis, reconciliations, and preparation of tax-related information, schedules, and disclosures.

  • Lead SOX 404 compliance activities and external audit requests.

  • Lead implementation, customization, and optimization of income tax accounting software to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Lead the maintenance of tax software for our income tax accounting purposes, including OneSource Tax Provision (“OTP”), Alteryx, Dataflow, etc.

  • Conducting tax research on various tax matters.

  • Lead or assist in the preparation of income tax accounting for Pillar 2 compliance, ensuring adherence to the latest global tax standards. Preparation and/or assistance with purchase accounting, opening balance sheet, and acquisition related analysis.

  • Coordinate the income tax accounting process for the tax function on an interim and year-end basis with the utilization of Microsoft Planner.

  • Prepare and present detailed tax provision walkthrough materials for senior executives and the Board of Directors.

  • Preparation and/or review of intercompany elimination procedures in accordance with ASU 2016-16.

  • Liaise with corporate accounting, financial reporting, and other cross-functional teams as needed

  • Supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering skill development and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Perform other duties as needed to meet business needs.

  • This position will have at least one direct report.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in corporate tax. Big 4 public accounting experience a plus.

  • Strong understanding of ASC 740, Accounting for Income taxes and FIN48, Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes, and SOX 404 process controls.

  • Experience with OneSource Tax Provision a must.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Master’s Degree in Tax; Certified Public Accountant.

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting deadlines and requirements.

  • A detail-oriented, team-focused individual with strong organizational and communication skills. In addition, having the ability to multitask, establish priorities, and work under tight deadlines will be best suited to succeed in this role.

  • Solid knowledge of finance and accounting required

  • Hands-on problem-solving ability while working on tight deadlines

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to analyze qualitative data

  • Exceptional analytical, statistical, quantitative, and deduction skills

  • Strong problem-solving ability

  • Ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization (in a multicultural, multinational environment)

  • Ability to develop working relationships within the Finance Department and other business groups

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Strong PC, Microsoft Excel and application software skills, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Planner and ONESOURCE Tax Provision, Dataflow. Previous experience with Alteryx is a plus.
