The Coca-Cola Company Summer Technical Consumer Research Intern in Atlanta, Georgia

Position Overview:

The Technical Consumer Research Team is actively recruiting for a 2025 Summer Internship position. The intern will play a pivotal role in advancing our understanding of consumer behavior, trends, and preferences, leveraging advanced research methodologies and analytical techniques.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and conduct comprehensive consumer research studies, including qualitative and quantitative research, utilizing advanced digital tools and technologies to gather in-depth consumer insights, such as web analytics and social media monitoring tools.

  • Analyze and interpret data collected through research.

  • Present complex ideas and findings in a clear and compelling manner to various stakeholders, including senior management

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and product development teams to understand their needs and provide insights that inform strategic decisions.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging research methodologies, and best practices in consumer research.

  • Lead and support ad-hoc research projects as required, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies throughout the entire process.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's program in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Market Research, Statistics, Psychology, Sociology, Food Science Programs, Nutrition or Chemistry with the emphasis of Sensory Evaluation, Statistics or Sensometrics.

Skills:

Strong analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proactive, self-directed, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding business-related information.

  • Understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously.

  • Proficiently user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Word

  • Experience with Power BI is desirable
