WestRock Company Sr. HR Program Manager in Atlanta, Georgia
The Senior Global Program Manager will be a key member of the WestRock Corrugated Packaging Human Resources Team. In this role, you will be a business partner with the Human Resources and Leadership Teams to independently lead and drive core programs globally. Additionally, this role focuses on alignment with business teams, as well as aligning to the COE and human resources business partner teams. A key component of this role is to have a deep understanding of the strategic priorities and be able to align those priorities within the business partner team and provide a level of structure and insight to the navigation and execution of those priorities. The role works closely with the Vice President, Human Resources - Corrugated Packaging, as well as the team of Senior Human Resources Directors, to drive key initiatives and programs, and in the creation and sharing of tools to improve processes enhance the employee experience and culture. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking and dynamic professional, with the ability to independently lead complex programs, manage multiple tasks, develop strategic, executive level presentations. The individual demonstrates strong presentation skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization. The candidate will also have experience with financial and human resources data and analytics and be able to utilize data to align with strategic priorities and derive insights in support of compelling decisions. The position is also responsible for the development, execution and delivery of time-based, measurable results. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering meaningful solutions and possess rigorous goal-setting and continuous improvement discipline. This role reports to the Vice President, Human Resources - Corrugated Packaging.
How you will impact WestRock:
Identify and independently lead key global initiatives and core programs using a continuous-improvement mindset, ensuring alignment with WestRock and Corrugated Packaging annual and strategic business objectives.
Utilize Generalist and HRBP experience in working with the Corrugated Packaging Human Resources Team, as well as HR CoEs, to prioritize programs, develop multi-year plans aligned with the strategic objectives, and ensure feasibility and alignment with core annual programs, key business initiatives and general team workload. Use internal and external resources proactively and effectively to support core projects and programs.
Lead core projects, utilizing a strong organizational development background to support and lead enterprise level initiatives.
Drive and ensure core integration initiatives and sustainability of programs through development, alignment, training, documentation and process, and appropriate use of resources for sharing; fully develop Teams site and other tools to ensure sustainability, effective communication and availability of resources.
Support on-going development of business facing HRBP\u2019s through coordinated efforts with Corrugated Packaging and WestRock HR leadership teams. In coordination with HR leadership team and HRVP, organize and manage annual and strategic planning, talent planning efforts, and alignment to HRLT priorities with effective communication plan/coordination.
Ensure alignment and partnership with the WestRock Human Resources COE Teams to integrate and improve current programs, drive excellence across the Human Resources function, lead change, pilot new programs and work towards Global HR Transformation. The candidate will also work directly with the WestRock Program Office to ensure alignment to priorities and manage consistent and aligned communication with HR and business team members.
Partner with the leaders and HR team members across the global organization to understand, drive, coordinate, track and measure results of our initiatives.
Organize a communication plan and calendar to communicate, drive and track multiple projects, holding the organization accountable for meeting milestones of projects.
Earn partnership across various organizational levels as a trusted subject matter expert.
Exhibit a proven track record of innovation.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline. Masters preferred.
5+ years of experience in a fast-paced HR business partner or business role, preferably supporting operations, sales and marketing, and technical client groups. Prior experience within a high performing manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
Additional 3+ years of program management experience, independently managing complex projects and initiatives, driving demonstrable results. Superior project management skills with high tolerance for working in changing and ambiguous situations. Demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure, prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines, while always paying very close attention to detail.
Global experience strongly preferred.

Creative communicator who works best in a collaborative environment and builds mutual trust and credibility at all levels of an organization.

Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience using Project Management software, and Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and or similar collaboration platforms.
